INTERNATIONAL - Please Note:
Each country, province, or state has its own regulatory requirements for the practice of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. While many of our graduates have successfully gone on to pursue Master's and Doctorate-level studies in acupuncture, they have done so independently, building upon the foundation of the certifications earned through IMAI.
While IMAI is pleased to provide guidance regarding its curriculum, it cannot assume responsibility for the acceptance of its certifications by other institutions, regulatory bodies, or jurisdictions outside of Ontario, Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the student to research and ensure that their educational credentials meet the licensing or registration criteria in the region where they intend to practice and to ensure compliance with the requirements of any province, state, or country in which they intend to practice or pursue further education.
